About the photo:

I wanted it to be colorful, frozen leaves but again - no frost last year.
I've got also photos of this rose with flames, if you would like to see. It's not visible here, however, I used over 40 candles (and a box of matchsticks) to prepare this shot. These candles are allusion to Love You To Death - In her place one hundred candles burning...



About the project:

Okay, that'll be quite a long artist's comment, I hope you'll not die from boredom or do the "tl;dr" thing.

I thinks there's no album that would absorb and enamor me more than October Rust. It defeated even such albums-worlds as Imaginaerum (The Score) from Nightwish or Wish You Were Here and The Wall by Pink Floyd.
October Rust is a masterpiece for me, an ideal harmony both between individual tracks and between music, lyrics and graphic design. It's an overwhelming, wonderful collection of dark, cool, autumnal worlds, endless love in its various forms. I can tell that this album is almost a lover for me.

I decided to somehow hmmm...pay tribute to this masterpiece, Peter Steele and the whole band which I fell in love with so much. I came up with an idea that to the every track I'll take a photo connected with track's atmosphere or lyrics. Unfortunately, it appeared to be more difficult and complicated than I thought... Especially the weather was totally against me. In fine, it took me more or less 10 months.

Every photo needed from few to over a dozen hours of work and still some photos are not exactly what I wanted, so please be lenient.
It is a very personal project for me.
