Echoes of nocturnal solitude

I love night. I love empty night trams, desolate city, distant echoes trembling in a cold air. I love rare spots of cold, industrial light amongst yellow and orange street lamps. I love that special solitude, bringing freedom.
I like unobvious things. Blurred images, overlapping lines and echoes, opposite flavors mixing in one. Taking photos without looking through the viewfinder. Creating beyond the rules.

The project was ready in about 2/3 when I went to the cinema and saw Only Lovers Left Alive. I was stunned. And I thought "that music has THAT feeling, is an exact sound of a night city". That's why I suggest you to listen at least some of the tracks while browsing through this project.

All photos taken between 23:00 - 3:00 in Kraków, Poland. Mostly during winter / early spring. Scanned from films. Blur, movement, grain, dust, scratches etc. etc. are intentional.
